I thought I would write a little something to document what I done for my 19th birthday.
It was so different not living at home now I live at Uni. My birthday was on Thursday (27th). Since being born me and my twin sister had never been apart for our birthday, and I loved that! I can be such a socially awkward person and being the centre of attention causes me to be very embarrassed. Therefore, I love having a twin, because we can split the attention on our birthday and atleast I don't feel too awkward (aha, I know i'm crazy).
Birthday weekend in the Park
Anyway, for my 19th my family drove all the way to me to celebrate, I was so excited to see them as I hadn't since the beginning of January when I returned to Liverpool from Christmas break. Although I am home in a week for Easter I was so appreciative of my Dad being so looking forward to drive the almost 3 hour journey to make the day special for me and Rosie. It ended up being such a good few days and I am really happy I can remember it by writing this post. I took loads of photos, and have chosen some to share on here.
On arrival
On my actual birthday my Uni friends spoilt me. I was spoilt rotten off my family and friends. I'm not going to list all of the present but a few of my favourite present are a Pandora ring from my best friend, IPhone 5 from my parents and a Disney Mickey Mouse mug from the Uni girls. I appreciate all of my presents and cards so much, and although I do say it ALL of the time, I have the best family and friends I could ever ask for.
We spent my birthday night in the pub. We had a meal and drinks and it was such a good night. Night with my family always are but this was extra special. I hadn't seen them for months and getting together for a drink was fab. We took plenty of photographs and drank plenty of alcohol.
A few snaps in the pub
The next day me, Alice (big sister) and my dad spent the morning playing pool, as I had been telling me dad about how 'good' I had gotten at pool since starting Uni. Me and my friends always go to the Students Union to play and in reality I am absolutely rubbish!! Oh well. Not until after challenging my dad to a game did he tell me he used to play all of the time and had his own cue and everything. I was absolutely slaughtered, he was so good at it and I was horrendous. It was very funny.
Then we decided to have a walk to Calderstone Park. We discovered the cutest cafe that provided books to read and I got far too excited about this. What a cute idea! I love tea and I love reading. It was newly decorated and very pretty. Luckily it was a week day so there was no children at the park and we got to play on the swings! I love swings haha.
Today, my family made the journey back home but before that we went back to the park to show my mam and Rosie. We enjoyed a picnic in the sunshine and had a lovely walk. I must have stroked every dog in the park and aw'ed at every baby. I am such a sop. It was sad to see them go again, but I am home in exactly a week so i'm looking forward to that.
